    Products, resources, recipes, quick easy tips, and other information to increase the average consumption of fruits and vegetables to 5 servings per day.
  • California 5 A Day Program (sponsored by the California Department of Health Services and administered by the Public Health Institute in cooperation with the National 5 A Day Program) http://www.dhs.ca.gov/ps/cdic/cpns/ca5aday/
    Information to encourage Californians to consume 5 or more servings of fruits and vegetables everyday and to be physically active at least 30 minutes a day for adults and 60 minutes a day for children. Targeted programs that operate within the campaign include the Children's 5 a Day-Power Play! Campaign, Latino 5 a Day Campaign, Pre-K 5 a Day Plus Active Play! Campaign, 5 a Day Retail Program and 5 a Day Worksite Program.

    The HWDC Training Center offers training to state, federal and local government agencies. Search for courses in project management, personal computers (e.g., Microsoft and Lotus applications), data processing, information systems and telecommunications. Online course registration is available.
