The cards display several health-related topics relevant to the participant’s specific category. Staff may use these cards to determine a participant’s topic of interest. The staff person asks the participant to choose a card with a topic she/he is interested in discussing. A card with “I’d rather talk about _____” is included for participants who have a different topic of concern.

The content on the back of each card includes opening question(s), relevant facts, and handouts related to the topic. Staff may limit the choice of topics offered to a participant by removing cards from the stack.

The circle charts have the same topics and content as the cards, just in a different format--all information is on one piece of paper. Use the version that best meets your participant and staff needs.
